A sketch and a real horse. One is imagination. One is reality.
The same is true for God’s promises: He shows us visions of what could be — what He wants to accomplish through us, and what He wants to do in the world.
The Bible says: “Write the vision; make it plain… that he may run who reads it.” — Habakkuk 2:2
A vision unrecorded is easily forgotten. A vision ignored is never fulfilled. And a vision apart from God will always fail.
Here’s the truth: We are all running toward something. Some chase pleasure. Some chase comfort. Some chase ambition.
But sin has twisted every human goal. We’ve all failed. We’ve all broken God’s law. And apart from Christ, our visions are empty.
The hope? Jesus Christ. He is the vision God sent to rescue the lost. He lived perfectly, died in our place, rose victorious, and now calls all who will turn to Him to follow.
Write it down. Hold it fast. Run with it.
Trust in Jesus Christ. He is the vision made real.
