THE FIRE THAT NEVER GOES OUT

Everyone burns for something. The question is: what?

A flame always reveals its source.
It doesn’t appear on its own.
It comes from fuel—
from something being consumed.

Your life is no different.

Your passions, your habits, your desires—
something is fueling them.
Something is shaping who you are,
who you’re becoming,
and where you will spend eternity.

The Bible says:
“Our God is a consuming fire.” — Hebrews 12:29

Not a weak spark.
Not a symbolic glow.
A holy, righteous fire.

And when we place our lives next to His holiness,
the truth becomes painfully clear:

We’ve sinned.
We’ve broken God’s Law.
We’ve burned for everything except Him.
And the flames of judgment are real—
not metaphorical, not symbolic.
Eternal.

But here is the mercy of God:

The fire of judgment fell—
not on us,
but on Jesus Christ.

He took our sin.
He took our punishment.
He faced the wrath we deserved
so that we could be forgiven, cleansed, and made new.

He rose again, and now He sets hearts ablaze—
not with empty emotion,
but with a new life, a new Spirit,
a new fire that does not die out.

Your life is burning.
Time is passing.
Eternity is approaching.

Turn from sin.
Trust in Jesus Christ.
Let Him ignite a fire in you that will last forever.

“He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.” — Matthew 3:11
